At the interface of science, art and education, I believe that this effort to engage as many people as possible in the fields that passionate me is a way to bring together communities, raise awareness and improve our collective understanding of the ever changing world in which we live.

Since 2014, I'm involved in a french program called "Les Savanturiers du Climat" where I mentor students from junior and middle school and help them building a science project. This year, we discuss about biodiversity and ocean acidification.

I designed this short video to answer one question from my little friends from "l'école Montaigne de Creil": What is the pH of the ocean and how can we measure it? This project was a ton of fun!

Every time out near the ocean, on- or under-water, sailing, swimming or just walking on the beach is a favored moment to educate and share my passion with my friends. I'm always excited to see curiosity, surprise and amazement on other people faces.

French Science Festival (2013-2015)

The "Festival of Science" is a french national event which takes place each year in September. I represented the LOCEAN and its research activities with other PhD students. We produced posters of scientific vulgarization, animated playful experiments on the ice melt impact (see video), the sea level rise, the acidification of the oceans and the thermohaline circulation; and presented our oceanographic equipment to the public.

Being on a research vessel is a great opportunity to share my experience of my work and of the world that surrounds me. I never miss the opportunity to write blogs' articles or try to get people involved in the life onboard. [click here] to see an article about how we used isotopes during the SNOWBIRDS cruise. During the ACIDD cruise along the California Coast, we interacted with students using postcards where they asked us questions about the cruise [click here to learn more]
